even though it is not father’s day in the us, i am thinking of my dad…he was an amazing man and i miss him every day. this framed photo sits on my bedroom dresser and reminds me that he is watching down over our family now…i like to think the cameras in heaven are awesome.

gemma asked the age old question today as we made daddy his breakfast before hers…
exasperated she whined: when is it children’s day?
and in my best rendition of my mother i answered:
everyday is children’s day, keep slicing that banana.

This is lovely. I’m sure your dad would be and is so proud of you, your family and your achievements and the fact that you have a great husband by your side. Pretty much everything he would have hoped for for you. You also got his photographic eye, I see.
