Her: Bumps, boo-button, kiddle-little, squash blossom, the college student.
Him: Mr. Man, stinky britches, Beboybuzz
"the college student". you are a riot.
I bet she gets called the college student for the same reason that S gets called Hermione Granger, too. :^)
trouble, boo, monkey, monkeyboo, hermione granger (that one makes her mad)
i love that it makes her mad…and that you do it anyway.

my holly has – Holzilla Queen of the Underworld
and jake has – Jake on the Roof ( an imaginary friend of his when he was little ) or more commonly "the boy"
and baby Alex??
just Ali so far…although I have heard holly call him many things under her 10 year old breath…
pumpkin head or punkin head…because he was round everywhere, like a pumpkin!
"T" and Pie. We're pretty simple I guess.
Him 3yrs: Lil Man, Shauniboo, Buddy, Stink pot
I have 2 daughters. My hubby liked to tease them and call them boys' names, for fun. Earl, George, Emily-George. The older one was Miss 2 Foot for a while. I think we did call her Miss 3 Foot when she got a little bigger. Hubby was really the one to call them the funny names! LOL!
The dog's name is Jasmine: Jazzy, Jazzywhirl, Jazzygirl, Earl, Ursula (and she answers to it, too!), Brainless Imp, and Jazzers.
him: rupert nupert, ralph (his name is ian) flat footed one, snuggle rabbit (he's 17 now..it used to be bunny)
her: mima, ladybug, 70..she's 4.
Caroline (my oldest) – Just C. She never really had nicknames that fit. Her brother and sister call her Sissy.
Isaac (twin #1) – Zeke, The Boy, The Brother, Dude, Z, Zekie-deekie-do,
Eliana (twin #2) – Ellie, Ells, Ellie-belly, Chicken (funny thing is she was pretty angry for awhile too), Elbee, Fussybutt.
My oldest is 10 and tall so we call him Sasquatch, my 6 year old insists on waking up early so he's the "lord of the dawn" and boy does he show his fury when we call him that! Love that Dottie Swirlbutton!
Bug, Lou, Junior Birdman, Pen, Ginger (for the redhead),…. but, to be honest, right now I pretty much just call the always into things 2-year-old "Dammit". ; )
Maddie is "Moo." Has been from the day she was born. Among other things, I call her "Hoppins" (because that's how she pronounces "Mary Poppins." Lately though, we've been calling her "pupperoni" because one night as she was drifting to sleep in my arms, she mumbled "I ate pupperonis (pepperoni) with Daddy today."
Madelyn – 2 1/2 yo : Missy Moo (we even hear herself say 'No Missy moo, don't do that' !), Madamims (how she says her name), Poppy (it started at Poppet, and was shortened!)
Christian – 8 mo : Biggy (How his sister says his name), Mister, Lil Man, Boo-Boo, Lil Guy,
Oh, I'm just wondering when they actually get called their proper names … ?
ive always been called Pink Zebra , little miss loud, sassy, Tuba, monkey muffin and i got called this by a canon owner: the nikon girl. a scoff on the nikon part .. =D
her- curly fry (as in jack in the box fries – which her curly hair looks like. by far our favorite), boo boo, pumpkin.
him- puppy (wuppy), baby dino (has a little dome nose) and "beady" ( as in bitty).
her: the Bug, toddler-features and the Bunjip (when being troublesome)
No kids as of yet, but my parents have called me "Kato" and "Kato Malato" (Dad says Kato was the advisor for the Green Lantern but I worry that he's really referring to the Pink Panther movies…) Ben was "Ben Ben, The magic man" long before the movie "stepmom" came out, and somewhere around my senior year in highschool I started calling him Benjo, and refuse to call him anything else!
her – Madame, Miss, Miss-demeanor, babby, Gwenlli, Gwenllianabelle, Frey-Frey, Frey-Frey-Fa-Fiddly-Frey-Frey, Fromage Frey.
him – Cally, Columbus, Clum, Clum-bum (he doesn't like that one, i try not to) Callamina, Boyo, Mister, Sir, boy bachgen.
Older boy: the Emperor, Jasperilla (like Sarsparilla), Jars (how SMS auto corrects his shortened name), Chatty Mc C(surname), Batman Hammertime (what he calls himself)
Younger boy: Zen master, Griffity do-dah (like Zippity Do-Dah), the Griffalo (like the Gruffalo), Chomps McC(surname)
Asher (10 months): booger-nose, baboo, Ashi-noodles, stinky feet
you forgot 'gross girl'
We call Ruby – Rubes Tubes, Rube Rube, Rubix Cube, Ruby Tuesday, Rubles, Rub Rub, Ruby Doo, Wubbles, Wubeee, Smooshy
Boo now only refers to me as Miss Peets. She called me Petapillar for a while
#1 – Munchie
#2 – Fluffy
#3 – Asher basher
Then of course, the usual – Darl, Sweetheart, Angel & heaven forbid, if I should call Darl 'Sweetheart" of vise versa…Mum, you call me Darl, not sweetheart….., its hard enough keeping track of their real names, let alone all their nickname – especially when they are in trouble!
Him- Ells, Ellybelly, jellybelly, Bunny, bunnypants. Senor Ponche Ponche (pro pawn-shea), Mr. Shitshorts. Bunny man with the bunny plan, King of the house, Mr. Man, The Boy.
I am proud mom to beanbutt, poodle popper, boob, and my favorite… poopie. And yes, they are 13 and 10 1/2.
Let's see. Our b/g twins (Connor and Celia) have several monikers:
Con Bon
Cealy Bealy
Con Bon and Gilly
Connor Bonnor
Celia Bedelia
Wild Boy & Marshmellow
my 3 girls nicknames: teddy, tootsie, mj, fruitfly, marsbar, matman, bugbug, chucky, pushkin, chicken, chickadi, mrs evienne (her invention…her name is evie…shes 4!), and cupgirl.
my 3 boys: bambam, the caveman, Buzz, Zekey, the professor, channy, punky, kettlefish, hedgepig (hedge for short), beanbag, chucklebum, and earthcricket.
My youngest son just started nursery and the teacher asked him to introduce him self. He said his name was Punky-Hedgepig. I wonder if I've actually called him Kai ever…
We were big on nicknames, and still are. I am 21, and my daddy still calls me Kelly Belly – probably because I still call him "daddy"… and I'm 21. My mom called me Gertrude, Bubbles (I was a spit bubble champion, evidently), and Fred. She called my brother Percy and Percy Pringle (his name is Pierce), and my cousin Krusty (well, Dad came up with that one…), Krusty Ann, or Chrysanthemum ( her name is Chrisann).
To this day, I still use nicknames for my mom (Marmy, Mommy Dearest) and brother (Perce – like purse, and Pirice – like peer-ih-sss). Daddy is Daddy, simple enough. You never grow out of the nicknames from your family… it's like a rite of passage!
I don't have children yet but my mom had nicknames for my brother, Kurt, and I when we were crabby. I was Wendy Whiner and he was Stormin' Norman. Those names would REALLY get us riled up!
7yo son: Little Man, J.Lem (like J Lo, but with part of our last name), Spike (when he was born, he had a shock of hair on the top of his head like a mohawk), Love Bug, Monkey
Nearly 11 yo daughter: Miss Thang, Punkin, MLem (to go with her brother), Monkey
The funny thing is that we specifically chose names (Marisa and Justin) that could not be made into nicknames — then we went and nicknamed them ourselves!
Growing up as Katie, I got the following: Katie Girl, Kators, Punkin, Kator Potator, Pookum Pie, Kades, and the all-time favorite, Punky (which I assumed somehow stemmed from Punky Brewster?). It is really funny how nicknames accumulate and last for years. I'm twenty-one now, and my Dad still calls me Punky (in such a loving tone that I couldn't care less how it started). <3
Her;;Miss Moo, as her only word for the longest time was Moo (she loves cows haha)
i call shryner Sanchez and Sanjaleeto at the moment. I call scarlett- beazus – more than I call her scarlett.
