we modeled sunglasses and went camping. in the office.
apparently the twins did some growing without asking my permission and i had to go get the 24 month clothing i had put away in the garage for when they are TWENTY FOUR months old.
i don’t understand how it is possible. i remember sorting all of those hand-me-down clothes when i was still carrying those babies in my belly. i had to sit and fold the clothes on the floor because the weight of them in me was too much for any standing activities. i would stop at certain pieces and remember when baby gemma wore it… taking note of how fast time goes. reassuring myself that i would not be hugely pregnant and uncomfortable forever.
still, at that moment, the twins being big enough to wear those things seemed a lifetime away. i did not even know their faces…
now here i am. reminded again. it goes so fast.

So, so, so love that first photo, what a classic. It is true they grow WAY too fast, at least you have a gorgeous photographic record of so many special moments.

Hi Rachel-LOVE the cropped one of Kieran in the pink shades. Well, I love ALL of them, but that one is my favorite. His little fingers, and kissable cheeks and rosey lips.

I just had to go shopping for bigger clothes for Liam. My 'tiny' little 7 month old is growing way way too fast. He's already in 12 month clothes and some 12-18 months! How is it possible I gave birth to a giant? At least he's trying to stay a baby for me a little longer.. still not crawling although it's going to be so soon and I'm going to cry like a baby myself. sigh.. these little ones need to start listening to us mommies and stop all the growing up.
