back in time

by sesame on February 4, 2010

in daily life, kids, porcupine

i had a request for a particular shot, so i have been going back in time on my external hard drives and i found this one.

gemma was the same age as the twins and clover has now started wearing that dress.

time. flies.

there were so many images that i never touched the first time around…years of images.  i wish i had time to go through all those folders and find some new favorites.
it is so much fun to remember.

now i want to get a wide prime for the d3.  what are your favorites?

I about died from the cuteness, too! Would love to see a pic of Clover in the dress! She and Clover sure have the same curls, at this age.

Wow. This was Gemma when she was Clover's age now? Gemma looks sooooo much older than Clover at this age. Clover still looks like a cute little baby. I love the dress! Gemma and Clover are two very beautiful sweet looking little girls. You're lucky to have such great kids. :D

So sweet! (:

My favorite prime for my F5 (I'm not yet rocking a full-frame digital, but give me time!) is the 20mm 2.8. Although if jenberry's right about the 24mm 1.4… that may change. :D

I just got the 24 mm 2.8. So far I really like how sharp it is and I love a little bit of distortion that I get with it as well!

I believe I’ve posted here a few times, but I just want to say this:

I’ve known your family through Flickr since around the time Gemma was two and a half, and I was eight or nine years old[I’m 13 now.], but I feel like I’ve known you all of my life. I was browsing Flickr, and came across some of your photographs of Gemma as a toddler, and I immediately fell in love with both your family and your photography. Watching you, Gemma, and the twins[not so much Alec, he’s not usually in the photo, lol.] go through obstacles, go on trips across the world, and just grow up has been a wonderful, sweet adventure. I’m very glad I have the chance to see kids as beautiful as yours and a family as well knit as yours is get through life. < 33

Great photos, of course, and beautiful Clov. The twins have grown so much! It seems like yesterday that they were introduced to Flickr. <3

As always, tell Little Miss Gemma I said hello, and to keep doing great in ‘real school’, tell Clover I said to take care of Kieran for me, and tell Kieran I said get better soon! Give them all my love, please. (:
