mornings on the couch…the twins…not helping.
i think we need to teach them to answer emails instead of just begging to watch thomas videos over and over.
poor peta, since she is a big sucker and falls for the cute sad faces, the twins think that the videos only play on her mac.
they never ask me.
when peta closes her computer, clover pretends to eat the apple while kieran collapses in a backwards walking heap of utter despair. thinking thomas must be gone for good.
someday he will understand that i have the internet as well.
we really are going to need to get a babysitter to go with that assistant i keep talking about.
our first beyond snapshots online class for beginning photographers is nearly sold out!

haha. I remember my previous work employer, when I wasnt into photography ft. saying that with young children you can't work when you want/expect to but you can work when you don't expect it : ) I think that about sums it up, don't you think : ) Sometimes I make my photoshop window smaller and have Miffy in a small window next to it and that way I can still edit some work and have a very satisfied entertained child for say half an hour

that is too funny and cute! that picture is awesome, love the expressions on kieran and clover's faces!!! i,too, would cry if thomas was shut off
will you have a class for advanced photographers? on the other hand, maybe i am not as advanced as i think…
we are doing private classes for the more advanced photographers. That will be set up and running shortly.
yeah
me: babysitter and assistant in one.
so when can you start?
i can babysit. i have got all summer
ha! too funny! Poor Peta-Kim falls for everyone of Grays "ups" as well
I was actually once offered a job as a 'Nanny and Assistant Photographer' all at once with a photographer/new mum. I wanted it, but couldn't get the US visa in time (I'm a Brit Citizen). So, alas, I ended up starting up my own business as a photographer.
Seriously though, how do you do it? (I know, I know…..we all ask it a lot). I mean….I have a kitten and – sometimes i feel like I need to hire a nanny for him in order to edit my photos in time for clients (he climbs all over me a lot, when I'm trying to work at the computer).
My best guess is a lot of coffee and patience? Or a great husband? One of these things?
I would totally babysit your babies for you …if I only lived in Australia, lol
I am happy to still put my hand up for assistant!
I'd babysit, but I'm way too far away and I don't have a passport! LOL! My kids loved Thomas, when they were little, too, but they had to watch him on TV, because we didn't have the internet, when they were that little.
