you inspire me to photograph my crazy family more....i too have 2 year old twin girls and a son who is 4. it is damn hard to shoot them. i can photograph everyone else's kids but mine!! they know all my 'look at me' or 'stay still for one more second' tricks. They just see the camera now and the action stops. i need to dream up some new idea's cause they are so incredibly cute and i am in desperate need to capture it all.....i am getting into a shooting frenzy with some not so co-operative kiddies....
any key advice???

Lol! How funny. Of course, Clover's very pleased with herself. Is Kieran doing better? < 33

Give them my love, adorable little ones. <3

Can you tell me: how did you compensate for the backlighting? I have a hard time with that when shooting with windows behind my subject. I can't seem to get this light quality; your subjects look surrounded by windows, not just in the background.

this is all window light...that room is just all light. as for visual clutter, I suggest just moving things out of the frame. I have been known to take photos off the wall for the shoot. Those are just the jammies they had on...lucky.

You're making me want twins. My 8.5 month old started out as a twin and I sometimes wonder how things would have worked out. It would have been a lot different! But who knows, maybe next time.....
