I remember seeing this blog post when it was actually posted, and it really drew me in and made me research not only this lens, but others similar to it, reviews, etc. I've been wanting a wide angle lens already, and it was like this was a sign or something. anyway, I recently had my 19th birthday about a week ago, and had asked for this lens. I wasn't even sure if I was going to get it, but low and behold, I did. And after trying it out, I am SO happy with my choice. Especially of the kitty - all that gray with the pop of blue is awesome. I'll have to look into Sigma now, I have a Tamron 28-75 zoom that I really like and the "off" brands tend to suit my budget better. :) Except for my Canon 50/1.4, couldn't do without it! Love these!! Also - my neighbors have a VERY rowdy ragdoll that often comes to visit our two kitties. She stomps around like the owns the place!
