the lensbaby tag line is “see in a new way”

and i am finding it easy to do just that.

this lens really does transform the mundane into simple beauty.

it is nice to be free from a self imposed sense of precision in my images.
and to see the hidden perfection in the imperfect.

i am enjoying this lensbaby more than i could have imagined in ways that continue to surprise me.

These are great Rachel! I have mooned over the lensbaby for a while, and I think I would love this look for weddings. Very dreamy and magical. Love!
i think it would be amazing for weddings. total magic.
I love these. You are probably doing good business for lensbaby. Just saw they are on sale at my local camera shop….very interesting…
I'm glad to see that you're having fun with it. I remember you commenting a while ago that you wanted to learn how to embrace the imperfect. You seem to be doing that perfectly.
What a great line… (to see the hidden perfection in the imperfect)…Love these!
K. looks like Paul McCartney in that last photo of his face! Just adorable!
ooooh, i like that!
Wow, those pictures are actually amazing and can I just say, I've followed your blog for a while and read the posts that you have made about the problem your beautiful boy has with muscle tone, but I have to say, he is kicking that conditions ass for the looks of these pics! well done little guy!
These are lovely
Look forward to more like this. You should have a go with a Holga if you want to let go of perfection – you have 2 apertures and the speed of the film you put in it and thats all the control you have, and yet it produces the most incredible images.
i actually have 2 holgas in my closet…i shot with them a lot many years ago. i love the images i have from them and actually miss using my film cameras.
Looks like a fun toy to play with. Those are interesting images with cute little subjects!
I really need to pick up a Lensbaby. These are AWE-some.
I love that our seasons are opposite each other! (I'm in the U.S.) It gets me inspired ahead of time!
