it is so important. the little things. the moments.
telling your family’s story in photographs.
it is something i do on an almost daily basis.
out takes from our book shoot this past weekend on this topic with the delightful stafford family (whose twins just happen to be 2 weeks younger than mine). see more from the shoot over on peta’s blog.

See, that is what I wished I looked like, when I was a kid. When my mom told me I had blues at birth, but then they turned hazel when I was a year old, I was so mad. I wanted blue eyes! LOL! I also started life as a blond, but eventually it darkened into the brunette I am now. When I colored pictures, I often colored any children as blue-eyed blonds! LOL! Oh well, my eyes are what they are even the brunette is starting to get tinged with gray, so nothing stays the same.
They are very cute kids! I don’t know anyone named Indiana and Piper (except for Sarah Palin’s Piper!). What cool names! Love that cute princess bed, too. I would have probably liked that as a kid, too!
Make that “blue eyes” at birth. My mind was going faster than my fingers!
Thanks for the phrase “telling your family’s story in photographs”. That really sings with me!
The battle of the portrait photographers! Ding Ding! Interesting to see your different takes on the day.
It was our absolute pleasure to spend a day with two such brilliant photographers! Thanks for taking wonderful photos, they will always be cherished!
