There is only now and then.

So we took the opportunity to celebrate the now with an impromptu sea swim before the kids went to bed.

And here I sit just a few hours later appreciatingĀ then with photos before I turn in for the night myself.

The sea, my family and photos…all my deepest loves.

All taken with the Minox and a few posted on Instagram as well. The Minox has all but replaced my mobile phone camera for photos on the go.

Thanks, these are all one the Minox camera, so there is just the curves actions I have made to enhance the imperfect loveliness it naturally creates!

I adore These. The processing is perfect and that Aussie summer light, to die for! How I miss it.

Did you actually take your camera out that far into the water!?

I did take the camera out that far! Got to live on the edge or there is a view of life that you just don’t get otherwise!

What a lovely way to spend the time before bed. Such wonderful childhood memories. We do it here in southern California also. Leave as darkness approaches. Beautiful.

That is exactly what I want my kids to remember of their summers.
