Grateful for all sides

by sesame on June 9, 2012

Yesterday I got all made up, donned a pretty dress and headed into the city early.

Australia’s favorite morning show, The Circle, had me on for a feature on Beyond Snapshots. They loved the book and wanted to share it with their viewers. I had so much to touch on in so little time. It took two full years to write that book and I had 6 & 1/2 minutes to get as much information out as possible. Tips I hoped anyone using any kind of camera could take away were the top priority. It was such fun. To say I am grateful for the opportunity they gave me would be an understatement. I am just so thrilled that Beyond Snapshots is getting such great reviews and most importantly, actually helping people take great photos of their lives. I am working on getting a link to the segment that I can share worldwide, so those of you outside of Australia can see it!

I am back to doing this today.

Just as important, only it does not require quite as much makeup and I can paint nails in my jammies! I am thankful for both sides of my life.

If you are a new reader coming over from The Circle, welcome. Please feel free to ask me photography questions and head on over to the Beyond Snapshots blog as well to read features of wonderful people sharing their art with the world. We even have a few different projects that we want you to join us on. This is just the beginning…
