Look who are four.

Growing up together but so different.

She: Still with the trademark beads. Still with the mysterious metabolic disorder. Still with the curly smile and my father’s eyes. No longer the Angry Chicken…in her words, she is now my “Clever Lunacorn”.

He: Still with a laugh that I am convinced could cure heartbreak. Still with the swoopiest eyes. Still with the hard head and soft heart. Pretty sure he is still my gentle frog…but don’t tell anyone.

These are taken with one of my favorite lenses…my Tamron 90mm macro. I have been a Tamron user for a long time. I still remember when they had interchangeable mounts so you could buy the lens and then use it on both Canon and Nikon bodies. In fact, this is my second Tamron 90mm macro as my first was a manual focus one in the 1990s. Tamron and I go WAY back. Well, the amazing news is that Tamron and I are now going forward together as well. I am so very excited for what this means…how I can better help you solve your photo problems. Much more will be revealed in the next month or so and I will also be looking for input from my readers.  Back from an incredible trip up to Sydney to speak at the Blogopolis conference and soon to start the full on kid fashion shooting season (summer lines in winter..brrrrr) so forgive me while I get back into my routine of coffee fueled late nights!

Funny, four years ago I was not sleeping because of babies and now it is for work…I am grateful either way.

She is just the most divine little lunacorn I ever did see. Reckon he might be pretty cute too – if I could see his face :)

He is a ninja…you are not allowed to see his face…too risky. Hope you understand, Allison Walker

Clover is always very beautiful, (not that it matters, kids should never have to worry about being beautiful and they should never have to strive to get compliments on how they look)
But in this picture she is stunning! I could stare at this photo of her for ever and “hear” her peachy little voice which is absolutely wonderful! She and sportacus makes a great twin couple :)

Rachel – I came across you on Flickr years ago. I’ve never commented, but I’ve watched as you moved across the world and grew your family and have had such amazing professional success. I wanted to pop in and wish the twins a very happy birthday! I can’t believe what little people they have grown to be. All the best to you!!

Happy Birthday to the Frog and the Chicken! Four is a wonderful age! Time flies. I still remember the first time I looked at the photos you took of baby Gemma on Flickr, Rachel. And how I started following your photos from that point of time, and eventually your blog, and eventually Facebook Page. I still remember vaguely the stories you shared about your father, your cat and home in America.
