Summer that is. I need to stop wishing for the future to race here, but I really want warmer weather.

Live in the moment, Rachel…even if that means wearing your giant Icelandic wool sweater over your other sweater again today! This moment is good.

Hi love!
I get caught in these moments too. X
This is exactly me, wishing for summer, or for the toddler to be less demanding, or the girls to stop whinging… and one day it will be summer and the toddler will be grown and the girls will have left home and I’ll wonder why on earth I was in such a hurry…
YES! exactly.
and here I am, after a long hot drought ridden summer, wishing for the cooler days of fall….
But I need summer to come and take my sniffles away!
Giant icelandic sweater *gasp* not a Rebekka giant Icelandic sweater?
Summer has been flipping useless here, you are welcome to it.
it’s the end of the seasons that get me … end of the summer, i’m just over the heat, over the dry foliage … end of winter, i’m just over the cold, over the dampness. but at the same time i’m thankful that i do have very distinct seasons and i know just about the time i start to get tired; it will change
i’ve enjoyed your winter while enjoying my summer … i’m thankful to have your chilly perspective while i sweat my ass off
What about following summer around the world? I certainly thought about it with summer slowly winding down in the US ;o)
I’m looking forward to fall. I’m ready for cooler weather, apples, pumpkins, and chili! I hope it warms up for you soon. About February or March, I’ll start whining about warmer weather, too!
I think we all do it. Whether is a season, a phase of our lives or our kids lives, EVERYTHING! I feel like its always hurry up and see where we can go next, what we can do next… its a good reminder to slow down and enjoy where we are, instead of always looking ahead.
