Well, I loved the whole week actually. While I just loved my entire trip to the states, Los Angeles will have my heart as long as some of my favorite people continue to live there. I was able to spend so much time with my best friend and her family. Without really knowing that I was giving myself a break from the photography and blogging, I only took a handful of daily life shots during this visit. I guess I did notĀ realizeĀ it until I came home as I had done a bunch of sessions and Instagramed a ton. Luckily on one of the last days at probably the hottest point, the four of us wandered down the hill from my best friend’s home into this natural wonderland for a photo adventure. Since I was at the end of my trip with no computer to offload my memory cards filled with the sessions I had done, all I had left was an old 2GB card and twenty minutes. It was more than enough. My heart and memory are full.
All images shot with the Nikon D3 and Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

Rachel, thank you so much for sharing these wonderful images with us. It looks as if the shoot was down in the Arroyo and that you had a great time. I’m so pleased you find time to visit as often as you do. What eyes that boy has! Love, John and Averil
