As I was making dinner last night I heard Clover call out from the playroom. She yelled “Mom, come take a picture quick before the light goes away.” So I grabbed the D3200 (which is never far from my hands now) and ran upstairs to see she had dragged the beanbag into the perfect spot and was waiting for me with her sword.

Clover has really become the one interested in my camera lately. In photography actually… We had to log out of her Instagram account since she was pretty zealous in her posting there. She will be back on when I can supervise and has been taking lots of photos in the meantime. We will pick her best to upload soon. Gemma’s interest in photography and blogging has been reignited so maybe she can have her little sister do a guest post on her blog (which will be updated very soon!)
I will be doing a series soon with my kids…photographing with them instead of just photographing them. Stay tuned.

How cute is that? The light was nice!
Sweet girl. I love that she called you over before the light disappeared. She’s her momma’s daughter isn’t she?
cute!!!!.. my kiddos talk about “the light” too.. but so far they haven’t shown interest in taking pictures other than with our old iPhones.

wow! she really does have a good eye for light! look at that.
Oh Rachel I love these! The juxtaposition of sweet little baby belly, innocence, and totally bad ass sword, plus, oh yeah, that gorgeous golden light and her sweet hair fuzz. Perfection.
