I thought a day in Fiji beat another 10 on 10 around the house, so here is one from morning bus ride (with no seatbelts AND a door that did not close) to the marina through to our voyage back to the main island at sunset. I wish I had a photo of me feeding baby sharks because I totally did feed baby sharks…

Gemma does not want to take her braids out because then it means we really have left Fiji and are back home. I watched the women closely on that teeny-tiny-island-in-the-middle-of-the-ocean and learned how to do it myself, so I have promised Gemma that we can do our own Melbourne version of holiday hair over the summer. Bula vinaka to all the beautiful people we met. It was a gorgeous journey!
Now head on over across the International Dateline to see what Wendy Laurel | Maui Family Photographer has for you this month!

Love this, I’m ready to book a trip: NOW! Those braids are definitely a right of passage, totally remember getting them while in Mexico as a kid. Can’t wait to see next month!
Ok. Those snail shorts on Clover are the best shorts I have ever seen! Ever!
Which island is that? I spend time as a kid on islands exactly like that – Nukulau Island and one we just called the sandbank, just off the Suva coast. These lovely pictures really take me back. I’m glad you enjoyed it so much.
