Well the first sleepover we have hosted, that is. Gemma has been to a few at other homes, but this past Saturday was the first time she had a friend stay with us! I think I remember being around eight when I started feeling brave enough to stay away from home, but I can’t remember who was my first… friend to sleep over, that is.

After the playing they picked flowers to set out on the dinner table, but ended up handing me bunches. Nothing like ripped flowers straight from the plants to make a mom feel loved…

Bedtime was easy after they watched Annie and ate my fantastic stove top made popcorn! Let the age of sleepovers begin! I remember it being such an exciting time as a kid and I love that my Gemma is feeling that now! Do you remember your sleepovers? Weren’t they just the best.

I love that you captured this time for her. I don’t remember who was my first sleepover either. My daughter is just 16 months old, but I’m excited about all these sorts of fun experiences she has ahead of her.

Great shots as always!!!
