The school disco

by sesame on November 2, 2012

Just the week after I catch a glimpse of the teenage face of my nearly eight year old daughter in this photo below…

I took Gemma to her first disco! (If they had them at her ex-school, I don’t remember.) So. Much. Fun.

With a splash of neon and a few rounds of that Gangham Style song (I am not sure I got that right as I am seriously the last person on the planet left who has not seen the video) they partied like a bunch of 80′s preteens for nearly two hours.

Even if she did flat out tell me that I was embarrassing her, at least I know she is not a wallflower!

So cute! I remember my first school disco. There were suede ankle boots involved ;)

;) Right now this makes me feel old. When your music becomes retro it’s usually a bad sign.
My son told me I embarrassed him the other time and I replied sorry but it comes with the territory ;)
The first pic of Gemma is amazing she looks so grown up
