Our Year of Thursdays :: Research

by sesame on January 24, 2013

This year of adventures with my twins is being developed from ideas. We get the majority of our ideas from books. Then there are the times that things come into our life and we have to go to books to get ideas on what to do with these crazy notions.

While we are frequent visitors to the library, the twins had yet to get hands on their own cards. So, with an immediate need for some research on  a serious consideration, we headed out to look stuff up and check things out.

With their recently acquired MyKi for public transport and now library cards, these kids are going to need wallets!

Need wallets, hey? Maybe they could make some.
You can make them out of ALL KINDS OF THINGS. Paper, soft drink cans, paper and DUCT TAPE!

If you are seriously thinkging of getting a dog then please please get one from a shelter. There are many lovely dogs in shelters looking for homes! Even taking the children to a shelter to see the dogs and learn about the work that goes on in those places can be part of your adventure Thursdays :) .

The library remains one of my most favorite places, at the ripe age of 27.

I mean, where else can you get amazing things that let you dive in, learn new things, meet new friends, travel the world, and tune out the noise of real life, FOR FREE???

So neat to see your little ones loving it as much as I do.
