No really. Once a year, the circus rolls into town and sets up in the parking lot. So bizarre and beautiful.
This is just one of the reasons I carry a camera with me everywhere. You just really don’t know when there might be a circus tent in your mall parking lot. Well, actually, it seems I should know as it is there once a year, but you get what I mean.
Another reason I like to document life is also found at my mall.
Cracks me up every time we drive under this. To think how many people had to look at that sign from production to installation and Gemma caught the misspelling it at age six! Three years on and it still hangs over the exit ramp. I wonder if whoever hit and bent the sign was distracted wondering what a “giveway” was while looking for a “pedes“train.
We are at the mall more than I care to admit. This school holiday, we went early not to run errands, but to catch the movie, Turbo! I really can say that it ranks up there as one of my favorite kid movies ever. That may or may not have had a small bit to do with the fact that we are taco obsessed at the moment. But more that it made me laugh and cry and clap! The kids were on the edge of their seats cheering.
Today while I try to work, the kids will colour in some pages featuring their favorite snails from the movie. Feel free to download copies of the same pages Featuring Burn, Chet, Skidmark, Smoove Move, Turbo, Whiplash and (my favorite) White Shadow!
