Please put me on your mailing list — My sons are in their 40′s but photographing grandchildren is much more fun anyway. I hope somewhere you will share how you achieve the extraordinary quality of the light. It makes the excellent photos really memorable.

Hi Rachel, I so enjoy your photography, and your blog with the thoughts of your day. I’ve probably told you this already on flickr as nfoto, but I am a twin, and find the twin parenting talk very interesting! It sure is fun from the child’s side, good to see the parent’s side, too!

    Have a great day!

I have an iPhone, no laptop at the moment. So, if I’m out with the camera I’d probably like a hard copy of your eBook “Click”. Do you have one, and/or how well would it come thru on an iPhone screen? At some point I thought you had a discount deal for pre-orders or the printed version, but I don’t seem to be finding it. Also, if you have a mailing list, please put me on it.

    Thanks a lot.

What’s a great starting out lens for Canon if you want to get into children’s portraits?

It depends on your camera, but if you are on a budget and have a digital sensor on your camera (versus full frame) get the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. It is sharp and light and has a non-variable widest aperture. You will also be able to change your focal length (versus being stuck with a prime lens) for getting variety in your images.

My wife would be very interested in the book “Click” but my question is: is the book only in “ebook” format or do you get a hard copy of the book when ordering on-line. If hard copies are av ailable I would be greatful to know where I can purchase a copy.

    Thank you for your time

I went from a D40 to a D5100 base don the advice of a salesperson and I’m thinking I goofed up. Thoughts? If you were looking to upgrade from a D90 into something nicer, what would you pick? If price wasn’t a consideration and if it was? So confused!

webinars?!!! Oh, I will keep my eyes peeled for that!! :) Okay, can I shamelessly beg you to offer a webinar on your nx2 workflow? LOL I just started to use it, and the skin tones and exposure sooc are a dream(thank you for giving nx2 a shotout at the clickinmom twitter party!!!-had no idea!), but I am feeling a wee bit lost and having a hard time duplicating my usual edited look in nx2! I would love to see how you go about editing in nx2, as I adore your style-it is so beautiful and film like. :heart :)

I was just wondering if i could have a little bit of background information about how you got into photography, what camera you use, basically a little biography. It is just to back up where i got my inspiration from. Look forward to hearing from you!
