I have to admit, I am really digging the books we are getting at the library…the things I am learning from just having a curious three year old boy is fantastic. Makes me want to go back to school.

But, he is asking Santa for an Iguanodon. (Help.)

Another great Adventure Thursday…this time to Chapel Street. Thank goodness I have my Valco Evo2 for two stroller or I would never be able to face the world with these guys…they need the respite of a stroller still and so do I. It is an amazing and strong little pusher…the only one we have now. I am going to review it, but if you are in the market now, go check it out.

The boy’s nickname.

From the day he was born, those swoopy eyes have had me wrapped around his tiny chubby fingers.

When we found out that one of the twins was a boy, I was a bit stunned. I knew girls, what was I going to do with a boy? Funny thing, just like the girls, all I have to do is love him. And I have found out that I really quite like playing with cars.

My kids love circus school. It all started with Gemma falling in love with a hula-hooping duo of circus performers from Canada and now all three of my children are enrolled in classes. It must be in their Russian blood.

If you have a circus school in your town, I HIGHLY recommend the classes. Such fun for the kids.

I am now trying to convince enough moms in my neck of the woods to sign up so they can run their adult beginner classes again! I would be the first in line.

For now, I am thinking of doing a circus themed set of Photoshop actions next and the first color one will be available free on the Facebook page, but you will have to Like us to get the action! Head on over to grab your free black and white action now before I change things up again!

if he wants to nap with his noo-noo and nunny (and a random chopstick holder thingy) he can as I know that before too long he will cast those aside for more mature stuff. There is always stuff, the nature of it just changes as we grow, but really…we all have stuff.

The rule in our house is that the pacifiers, dummies, noo-noos (whatever you call them) have to stay in their bedrooms for sleep or quiet time. There will be no “binky fairy” coming to take them away. We could see that the use of these suckers were starting to affect their speech, so we have confined them to their rooms.  No judgments here, we embrace the stuff that comes with life and you know what, three really is still quite little.

fall got bullied by winter into cutting her stay here in melbourne short by a number of weeks. it is cold and gray.

while shooting some images to illustrate to our current class, lighting during those overcast days, i took this. it did not strike me at the time, but while reviewing the shots on my laptop, apparently my toddlers are now kids because this young man is my baby. and he needs a haircut.

i can’t believe that mothers day just 3 years ago, i still had no idea what this sweet face would look like.
