Client photos from before I left and travel photos from while I was gone. My to do list is as long as a city block and I think I will be using most of my words up on a big project I have set for the month of July, so be prepared for a lot of photoblogging on this photoblog for the foreseeable future.
I have just begun the process of pulling favorites from the trip this evening and I think it is going to be quite the collection of travel photos, so pull up a chair and welcome to my vacation photos virtual slide show. I make great popcorn.
A little back-story, this trip was planned for my husband’s 40th birthday celebration. He is a very well traveled person and really enjoys the whole process, so instead of just booking flights to get us from here to there, he incorporated the stops into the trip so that we got value out of each leg along the way. We flew from Melbourne to Bangkok where we got great massages in the airport and then on to a flight to Zurich. In Zurich we were able to take the train into the city for a little walk around and a quick stop into H&M. I had never been to Switzerland so this was a fantastic (yet chilly) way to start our adventure.
I took the D3 and 3 lenses with me and boy was that camera heavy to travel with. Most of these are shot with my lensbaby composer. I will have more details on the lenses I took with me and other photo related info in later posts. For now, just a quick post to say “I’m back!” and since it is the first “school night” for me in a while, I had better get to bed…getting 3 kids dressed and out the door by 8 is not going to be easy now that I am out of practice!
After Zurich came Venice…oh how I loved Venice. Stay tuned.
