something different :: photos :: chefs, grownups and black and white, oh my!

I rarely (bordering on actually never) put client work on my blog anymore for a number of reasons, but today I am sharing a small sample of one project that I am working on. In addition to pushing myself out of my photography comfort zone, I am hoping that being around all of these talented people in the food industry will rub off on me and I might actually learn how to make something in my own kitchen that appeals to the palette of people over the age of seven.

Ongoing series of images for The Pantry in Brighton. Amazing restaurant and a great looking wine journal if you are in town.

Black and White portraits published in The Wine Journal.

Documentation of their famous Masterclass cooking show series.

It is not only my kids and vacations around here.

  • Andrea - Wonderful! I love that you tried something new and I worked out really well! My favourites are the first two pictures. I like the first one for being spontaneous and fresh (fish) and second for creating fantastic light with the fire and showing the concentration and dedications on the chef’s face. Great pictures!June 25, 2011 – 4:37 amReplyCancel
